A restaurant chain leader in Mexican Seafood with more than 20 years experience in Dallas, TX has an opening for an experienced bookkeeper–accountant assistant with interpersonal communication skills, bookkeeping experience and accounting background, capability and willingness to float and learn all office positions. We strive to provide quality customer service and are looking for a team member to become an integral part of that endeavor.
I. Job Description & Responsibilities:
1. Oversee office processes
2. Willingness to rotate and learn all positions
3. Knowledge about payroll taxes and supervise payroll
4. Maintain bank accounts and cost of good sold percentages
5. Assist Bookkeepper with AR & AP
6. Become proficient with our Accounting Software “QuickBooks
Enterprise” and Intuit Services.
II. Qualifications:
1. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, in English and Spanish
2. At least 1 to 2 year’s previous experience in bookkeeping using
QuickBooks Enterprise
3. At least 1 year previous experience in general journal entries for CPA accountant assistant.
4. Must be able to retain and recollect information
5. Standard PC proficiencies with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel
6. Highly organized and detail oriented
7. Good customer and phone skills
8. Must work well with others
9. Strong ability to manage yourself in complex and/or multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Self-starter personality
Location: Dallas
Compensation: Good compensation depending on experience
