Requisitos Generales – General Requirements
• B.S. Degree in computer science or MCSE certification a Plus, but not required. Minimum 2-5+ years experience with an emphasis in LAN, server and desktop support required.

• Provide training and support
• Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration, and installation.
• Installs and maintains local area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring.
• Monitors and maintains network stability.
• Prepares and maintains documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
• Evaluates local area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
• Communicates and coordinates network schedule, backups, and downtime to users.
• Coordinates third-party maintenance for network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.
• Manages LAN security and network performance.
• Establishes and implements LAN policies, procedures and standards, ensuring conformance with information systems and objectives.
• Previous Supervisory Experience a Plus, but not required.
• Ability to make presentations involving highly technical material.
• Demonstrated experience with goal setting, prioritization, project management, and budgeting.

Software/Hardware Experience:
• Microsoft Windows Desktop/Server OS
• Server/Desktop/Laptop hardware support
• Backup Software and Procedures
• Microsoft Office applications, Outlook 2000 client
• Microsoft 2000/2003 Server or Higher.
• MS Exchange, Terminal Services,Windows XP, IIS (Internet Information Server), ISA (Internet Security & Acceleration Server).
• Server Monitoring tools
• Automated Windows Server Build processes
• Active directory
• TCP/IP LAN, WAN (T1/T3/ATM), IPX, DHCP, DNS, WINS, FTP, PPTP, Fast Ethernet and SNA technologies.
• Firewall and VPN skills are highly preferred
• Anti-Virus Protection Server
• Understanding of the operation of network routers and switches.
